If I Had A Title, I'd Put It Here

I'm going into this post not really knowing what to write about, but thinking that my posting has been few and far between lately. I could just give you an update on my life, but that seems a bit boring and over-done here.

I've been reading a lot of books, but nothing that really stands out (except for a re-reading of Eat, Pray, Love) as review worthy. I've also watched a few movies (the most recent being An Affair to Remember and The Golden Compass - both very good), but I didn't really pay enough attention to the details to write a good review; I just sat back and enjoyed them.

Mostly I've just been trying to focus on all the things going on in my life except work, which I have to say are pretty good. I just wish I had something more interesting to post here. :-)

So, to spice things up, here's a strip from the comic Lio, that was on my iGoogle page today. Enjoy!

  1. Amy! What did you think of Eat, Pray, Love?? A friend of mine saw it in a book store and told me I should read it... but I haven't gotten around to it- is it good?

  2. I've read it twice now and I'm sure I'll read it several more times. I love it, absolutely love it. It's on my all-time favorite list, and I'm sure you'd love it to, so go buy it already! (Oh yes, it's a buy-to-keep kind of book, not a get-from-the-library kind of book.)

  3. Oh, man, I just saw a spelling error and the editor in me is freaking out. I meant "too" I swear!

  4. I LOVE An Affair to Remember! It is one of my top three favorite movies. I have the DVD and watch it at least twice every month. It is, perhaps, THE most romantic movies ever made. The version with Irene Dunne and the one made in the 90s are not even in the same league. I mean, come on! Who can resist Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr? (Grant) "If it had to happen to one of us, why did it have to be you?" (Kerr) "Don't worry, darling. If you can paint, I can walk. Anything can happen, don't you think?" Sigh . . . I need a tissue!
