Last week I finished Not Quite Paradise: An American Sojourn in Sri Lanka, by Adele Barker (click the title for my review). This was the first book I won through Library Thing's Early Reviewers program, and I was so excited to be able to review it for Beacon Press!
This week I'm working on the second book sent to me through the Early Reviewers: Mrs. Kaputnik's Pool Hall and Matzo Ball Emporium, by Rona Arato.
I also just picked up The Time Machine, by H.G. Wells (I watched the 2002 movie this weekend) and The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak, from the library on a whim, and they're both sitting on my nightstand begging me to pick them up.
Lots of good reviews will be coming! What are you reading this week?
