  3. Ummmm. I am so glad to see this list- I feel like I remember you talking about it at one point and feeling like I'd love to work my way through some of it at least! I feel like children's chapter books make AMAZING bus books- engaging enough that you aren't bored but not so completely mind-consuming that you miss your stop...

    Oooh- and I'd TOTALLY second the Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry- I read it in like 4th grade and then again in middle school- its good. :)
