The Biggest Loser

I'm not a fan of crying, but you know what gets me every time? The Biggest Loser. I can't help it. Every time those people get up on the scale to learn that they've lost 12 or 15 pounds every week, when they weren't able to lose 5 in 6 months at home, tears spontaneously spring up in my eyes. This isn't particularly a good thing when I'm watching the episodes online on my breaks at work, but whatever. Anyway, I'm just wondering if any of you are as addicted to this show as I am. I'm not a diehard fan, but I have been watching every episode this season (it doesn't hurt that I think Bob is cute) and I've gotta tell ya, their stories are always inspiring. Plus, I like the cooking/training tips you get every once in awhile. On days when I watch the show, I always look forward to going to the gym and working out. It's a nice little push out the door. :-)

  1. Amy, I've never watched the show but it does sound inspiring. On the one hand I am impressed by your desire to exercise and on the other hand a little horrified too. You sound almost excited by the idea of it...very disturbing;). I like Mark Twain's thoughts on exercise-lie down until the desire goes away.

  2. Haha. To be honest, I hate working out, I really do. But I love the feeling afterward, which is about the only thing that gets me off the couch. Although there are days where I completely adhere to Twain's philosophy.
