A Day at the Conservatory

One of my goals for 2011 was to take more pictures so, this evening, I went to the Botanical Conservatory.  It was nice to be in a place that smelled like flowers, considering this is what I was seeing outside my window two nights ago:


Plus, they were having a Peter Pan display!


The ship came complete with a crocodile.


I'll do a post on our conservatory later (it's awesome!) but here are a couple of my favorite pictures that I took tonight.



P.S. I mentioned earlier that another goal for 2011 was reading the classics I'd been neglecting and asked if anyone wanted to join me.  A few of you said yes (YAY!) and now it's time to pick which one.  I've got a poll over on the sidebar.  If you'd like to take part in a read-along, please vote as to which classic you'd like to read.  The poll closes one week from tonight, February 10, at 6 pm Eastern Time.

    Can you go to Countdown to Spring on FB and post these pix? Patrice (the site administrator) was asking people to post photos.

    Sounds really good. If You post on FB. I like the most ship which is fulled up with crocodile. I wish that You post these pictires on FB as soon as possible.
